It's a ratchet attachment that is like a tube and it's very flexible, allowing you to put sockets in tight nooks and crannies. I need one of those, but I don't even know what they're called. Sear's website's search option doesn't work and neither do their links. If anyone can tell me what this tool is called, I'd really appreciate it.

it's commonly called a "flex"(or flexible) extension and u can probably find one at a NAPA or similar parts store

I have one made by Snap-On. The part # is FX628. You could try their website maybe they give it a specific name or you could get one from them.
