I have a report to do about his atomic theory. I have to include how he found it, most website only include what it is, but not how he arrived at it. If you know or know a website that has this information please help! Thankyou

This theory was initiated by an indian and the word atom we know was called " parmanu " .Dalton studied about the fact that a substance must be made up of tiny particles when he broke a piece of rock . He though that a stage would come in which the stone could not be broken further and that stage particle was called atom .
Atom comes from word " atomio " .

Where that answer from brain came from is a mystery to me.
Dalton basically "borrowed" ideas from many different people and combined them into his atomic theory
Democratus - name atom from the greek atomos meaning indivisible, and discontinuos theory of matter
Lavoisier - Law of conservation of mass
