No I think it's an essential part of life in the UK, but agree it needs refocusing on a basic level of care without any delays.

No you idiot, you would then have to take out private health insurance that would cost more.
wait till you need the NHS then you will be glad of it.
Think Richard Hammond, Rushed to hospital by helicopter then into an operating theater then intensive care, all on the NHS.(admittidly he has been tranferred to a private hospital now to recover but the life saving stuff was done by the NHS)

Maybe - but those who could not afford health insurance would still need to be taken care of (as opposed to being left to suffer and die) and this would still have to be payed for by taxes, which would be additional to the cost of your insurance. Furthermore, all but the most expensive health insurance will not pay for many major operations and life saving treatments as many Americans find out, to their cost.

are you speaking of socialized medicine? Be more specific. This is interesting to me. IF you are...I can tell you ALOT that is wrong with it. None of us should WANT socialized medicine. That would give the government complete control over our medical care. That would give them the say so over our treatments, etc. Doctors would quit practicing because they would not be reimbursed the appropriate amounts. Malpractice lawsuits would be eliminated all together so when a socialized medicine doctor screws up and harms us we have no where to turn to for that. We would be STUCK in this system....with no way out. There is so much wrong with this. Too much to even mention on here.

certain they ought to. yet they don't look "human beings of religion". As they declare to be. they are human beings of worry. they ought to no longer insure their churches and mosques both. yet they do. again a teach of no faith.
