After four years its worth getting it checked out.
My husband and i took a year to conceive and what worked for us was taking my core temperature every day so we knew when i was ovulating and could concentrate our efforts. If you want a better description of the core temperature thing just drop me a line!
I'd strongly recommend going to the docs tho. it costs nothing to get checked out and may be for the best.
good luck tho!

It all just depends. If you haven't done any thing to protect then maybe you just haven't tried. Try going to a store and bying an ovulation kit. It will tell you the days that you are most likely to get pregnant. Try that for a month or two. If nothing happens then go to a doctor. Not just an OBGYN or whoever you choose. The problem could also be that the women is insulin resistant and that can stop pregnancy. I do reccoment the ovulation test first though. Good luck.

if you have been trying for a baby for 4 years and nothing has happened yet, then i really think it is time that both of you go and talk to your doctor, it may be that your husband has a low sperm count or maybe you are not producing eggs, or it may be that your body is not ready to conceive, it could be a number of reasons, but the only way to find out for sure what the reason is, is for your doctor to run a few tests on you both.
i hope every thing turns out ok for you, and i wish you both good luck.

With clues staring you in the face, I'm wondering if you are a Police Detective....!
I suggest that it is highly likely that 'there is something wrong,' for want of a better expression.
Therefore, it might be wise to seek a Medical opinion on this matter.

You should try one of those ovulation kits to tell when you're ovulating. I think if you have a normal cycle you usually ovulate about two weeks after the beginning of your cycle. You can always go to a gyn to get checked out just to be sure. Also make sure he gets checked out. It's not necessarily your fault. Most importantly don't worry. It's really very hard to get pregnant! Good luck.

Considering you have been trying for 4 years, I'm suprised you haven't seeked help like IVF.
Keep trying though if still no luck go and see if perhaps your partner has low sperm count of if your body is rejecting fertilization.
Good luck!
