What are some fun things Singles can do on their own?

I'm a 22 yr old single. I don't know many people in the area (near Dallas, Texas), and I'm trying to think of fun things that I can do on my own that does not cost a lot of money. I go to a predominantly woman's college, so the focus there is on education (where it should be) and not on entertainment, so there are not normally very many activities on or around campus. Any ideas?

Explore town and parks on a bicycle. Read books in coffee shops.

You can rollerblade (which is cheap once you buy the blades)
