it is crazy but true. if u r agressive, pushy, rude and some1 with a foot in the mouth, u r amazingly attractive. u seem to b the kind of character who tell the world, 'in ur face'.
but if u r timid, u have no identity. u can be bullied, and u also spineless.
but wht the funny part is: in life partners we look for the timid person at home, who is a fighter outside. y??

No but being timid can mean that you don`t make conversation or mix easily with people and sometimes this can make you seem stand offish and in fact make you appear the very opposite of how you really are.

i have to disagree with some of these answers. being timid doesnt necessarily mean you have low self esteem as most people on here apparently think. so the problem is ppl associating quiet girls with girls with low self esteem. i have always been timid but i have no problem with myself! i actually know more loud obnoxious girls who have deeper self esteem issues than timid ones. so in the end they are obnoxious to try to mask their insecurities. i think it just seems that people dont like timid girls because the loud ones are getting all the attention by doing dumb silly things that you just dont see yourself doing!
its like with clowns, you cant help but notice when theres one around, and if theyre standing next to a person dressed normally you're more likely to notice the clown, but it doesnt mean theyre more attractive!

I dont think being timid makes you look unattractive, its part of who you are. I just think guys like girls who can be outgoing.

Because outer appearance is only part of the package...especially for women. For men, it's primarily the visual...
For instance, a woman can see a guy that is maybe not the best looking but is totally sure of himself & very confident...and be totally attracted to him.
That's why women are often attracted to the bad boy types...

Confidence is sexy. It's how girls who aren't super attractive seem super attractive to those around them. THEY think it, so other people start to think it too. If you're timid with a low self-concept, it will show. People will think you don't value yourself- why should they?

Well, I don't know. Everyone has another definition of being attractive. Some people like loud and wild people, others don't. Don't worry to much about this, just try to be yourself, whatever they think about you.

Simple.
If you see somone who is always worrying about themselves, and is sort of standing bent so it shows they arn't confident, biting their nails and not having a crazy side to just dance and forget about tommorrow... does that seem really attractive?
