Freckles are caused by the melanin in your body and usually the sun makes them worse, hormanal changes can also affect them. To prevent freckles use sun screen with an SPF of 30 every day even in winter. You can also cover them with a good foundation or try Pur Minerals it's a powder foundation with an SPF and shea butter, you can find on the American Shopping Channel or the Canadian shopping channel. Mineral powder is amazing and it really covers, buy the colour that most closely matches your natural skin tone. Go to the shopping channel and look for Pur Minerals the u has two dot over it. If your lucky enough to find the program on watch how they apply it, and listen to what she has to say about her products they're great, all natural and doesn't cause the skin to break out. I use it everday and especially love for dark spots and scars. It really works. Happy shopping and remember sun screen is your best friend use it every single day.

freckles are often heriditary..but if your having More Than usual could be because of too much sun./ Always use a good sun screen. Also, age brings out more freckles too. There are lightening products on the market that will help if they become so bothersome. But it takes a while for them to work...Of course the fastest way to make them disappear is to go to a dermatologist and get a chemical peel.

People who have a lot of sun exposure tend to get freckles even if they don't usually have them. try and stay out of the sun, or just wear some sun screen. It won't stop the freckles from coming but it will prevent some of them.

Freckles come from sun exposure. Stay out of the sun as much as possible and wear a wide brimmed had and sun screen when you go into the sun to minimize freckling.

genetics and the sun. Try rub lemon on your face. Leave it on for about 15mins and rise with cold water. You can also use butter milk. If freckles are genetic, then they should disappear when you get older (18 about). If not, but can get laser treatment.
But remember "a face without freckles, is like a sky without stars."
good luck!

stay out of the sun freckles are actually little sun damaged spots on your skin. If you get them then it really can't be helped but use plenty of sun screen if you must go outside , this will help control them a little more.

You can get some special face lotions/creams just for that. They can get alittle pricey, though. I know the one that has worked the best for me is Even Complexion Esence by Mary Kay.
