There's a fashion book that matches your "season" with your skin tone. (i.e. dark hair and eyes would be winter and would look good in blues). Don't remember the name, but you should be able to google it.

If you have a dark complexion you can wear bright colours true primary colours orange, reds, white, and royal blue is coming back in style. If you are pale wear pinks and light blues, lavenders, beiges and cream. Another way is to get a bunch of different colours and place them over your neck, you'll notice which colours brighten or make your skin look washed out. I would do it with the makeup on that you wear everyday. You could also go to any fashion magazine web site and search for skin tones and colour. There are lots of sites that you can search on the web. Check your shopping channels as well they're great for fashion tips.

Well, it depends on your skin tone, sweetheart. It's really good to go to makeup boutiques and ask makeup specialists to give you free makeup advice and help. A lot of places out there are really helpful, and almost anyone would be positively pleased to give you support in makeup. One thing you should keep in the front of your mind is less is more. The more heavier the makeup looks, the odder it looks. So go fresh and fabulous, and sweet stuff, you'll be buried with compliments!
