I was raised on them, and I still love a good black and white. Hmm...we'll have to get into this.

I agree the generation now ill only laugh at such films and probably sleep through it as well.They are so cliched well u gotta laugh.Well yea luckily they dont ake movies like that anymore coz weve moved into a new set of good movies.Someday this generation will be lookin back and sayin they dont make movies like these anymore.

Mmmm I love the old musicals, used to watch them with my mum as a kid. They dont make movies like Calamity Jane, Seven brides for seven brothers, Oklahoma anymore!

Yes, the long, black gloves and passionate kisses in a fiery embrace (sigh) were great, but they distort my reality. I have to accept that these intimate notions have been replaced by visions of drunken Englishmen in shining underwear.

The acting in the old movies was soooooooo bad! It was all false drama and tension building, for nothing. The movies these days are all sex, violence and foul language. That's why I enjoy kids movies and chick flicks. But anything with Nicholas Cage is excellent. I'll watch him any day.

I love old movies better than new ones, especially anything with Bette Davis or Vincent Price....... and all the old sci-fi black & white movies, I just love cheesy monsters from outer space and giant bugs!

Yes very much so... Unfortunately Hollywood has forsaken sentiment and value, for speacial efx and $$$... the future of movies equals big names+well calculated plot = money...
try independent and european films

i agrre with ya...i would much rather watch an old black and white movie than anything made today! They actually had a story=line back then---instead of just shock value like today
