Israel abode by an United League of Nations resolution, which the Hezbos still have not disarmed as ordered to. There was no "cut-and-run". After seeing what Iran has in mind, I would offer it would be safer to keep an eye on those liar from next door than from the other side of the globe.

Cucks both left and right cucks are the only morons that support Israel. Most thinking people don't so that's why it was important to dumb down America with (fake)right and left (Israeli ran) TV stations in America. I mean here's a country that lobby's non-stop for legal gay marriage in the US, and open borders and all the "kill whitey" anti-white talk, despite jews running the slave trade back then and running the pedo and porn trades today. I say nuke Israel and save the planet.

for one, the US is in Iraq to establish a foothold in the middle east.
for two, the state of Israel may have formally left Lebanon, but you can believe they still have a presence there and one capable of openly returning at the drop of a hat. Israel and Lebanon share a border; it's easy to pretend to leave.

Great question, although I suppose there will be many who claim that the two situations cannot be compared to each other, etc.....
In my mind, the two situations beg for comparison, I suppose,
but of course, they are entirely different in many ways, as well.
I for one, was disappointed that Israel did not finish the job with Hezbollah, however I'm sure that Israel was assured that a threat to the north had been dramatically reduced before allowing a cease fire to go into effect.
It is a refreshing concept. Maybe we should negotiate a cease fire in Iraq. The results may surprise everybody.

We will. It may be a while before this colonial mis adventure is over. Its only gone so long due to the sucess of the Bush Administration's ability to spread fear and mis information.
Eventually this has to end. We have no viable strategy and insufficient resources or will. And its a falicy to think we can democratize a Middle Eastern state like Iraq.

We invaded their country with promises of freedom and prosperity. What does it say about the USA if we cut and run without fulfilling these promises? We need to get the job done right.
