They say you have to use all the same line as they are designed to compliment one another. Although, I do find it kind of expensive that way. I use Oil of Olay's Complete Moisturizer with sunscreen in it. It is a spf of 15 and it works great! It's not oily and it never causes me to breakout. You can get a regular bottle of it for about $6 and it lasts forever (about 6mos.). I love it because I moisterize my face and protect it at the same time at once.

Just had a quick looked at your other questions posted and they are similar - all about beauty products. I personally would recommend you stick to a brand as they would have been tested with each other before going on the market to ensure no reactions when mixed. I personally use Dior products and would highly recommend them but my best friend uses Clinique and loves it (she has sensitive skin and it never causes a problem).
I hope it is useful information - at the end of the day if you wish to mix brands just do a sensitivity test by rubbing the two products together on the inner elbow in the shops, if there is no reaction you should be fine to buy them.
With regards the SPF it is only protecting where you are rubbing it - would think it's cheaper to have a separate bottle for the larger areas of the body exposed. Also important is the level of protection to the potential exposure - somewhere really sunny would need a high SPF which most moisturisers i have seen don't do. Take care and hope this is helpful!

I agree. It is very important, once you have found a brand of choice that you like, not to mix them up too much. Each brand has been tested, but has each brand been tested mixing with another brand? No. So, if you mix them up what you are doing is using an untested chemical soup on your skin. Natures Way (a salon brand, not a supermarket brand) make a SPF10 moisturiser which is reasonably priced, along with a useful range:

for their range.
