I just purchase some on-line tickets to see the Brian Setzer Orchestra. This show is suppose to be a Christmas show around the Thanksgiving holiday. I DO NOT want to see him and his crew if they only play Xmas music. This would be a disgrace to his music. I want to see him and the orchestra ROCKING, not puking out some trashy Xmas music. Anybody know any other information about the music he might be playing at this upcoming concert?

They will rock, don't worry.

I don't know if you've heard any of the Xmas albums the BSO has put out. I only own one, 'Boogie Woogie Christmas', and if your fear is that he's going too be singing tame versions of Xmas carols, think again. They are all given a fairly energetic rockabilly treatment. Preview the sounds here:

Anyway, if you haven't seen Brian Setzer play live, it a chance not to be missed, based on the videos that I've seen. Anyway, the promo stuff on the Net (don't know what show you're going to) says that he will cover other stuff from his 25-year-career, so I'm sure some Stray Cats stuff will in there too.

Go for it, I doubt you'll be bored!
