Get a job and buy one of the pay as you go phones. If your to young to get a job then there is no reason you need a cell phone.

She probably won't get you one because of the bill. So tell her about Virgin Mobile. It is Pay-as-You-Go. Every 90 days you get a Virgin Mobile Top Up Card 04 20,30,50,or 90 dollars and you can text message, take pictures (on some phones not all), buy ringtones and graphics and games, make phone calls (of course) and no attachments to your house. It is just deducted form the amount you put on it from the top up card. It super easy to use. I have one! If she likes the Idea be sure to tell her there are many companies out there like Boost Mobile, Tracfone, and that new tiny cingular phone, you can get it on a GO phone plan.

Show her you are responsible and trustworthy. I just got one for my birthday, but it was not easy! I had to keep good grades, but at the same time be machure about things I didn't want to do. And do NOT lie to her, that is the worst thing you can do. Then she will go into detail about what if you were to do aim on the cell when you weren't suppose to. And do things FOR her without her having to ask you!

If your mom allready has an old outdated phoe ask her for hers but ask for a newer model

well my mom got me one b/c
a. my birthday was coming up
b. i was always hanging out with friends and she could never get ahold of me and finally got tired of not knowing where i was

i would try doing extra chores for her show her, take out the trash before she ask you too, or pick up your room without her telling you too. show her you deserve it, i think she will notice.
