I dont want it changed either but I have seen alot of comments that it should be.

NO! it should not be changed. people are being selfish. this anthem has been with our nation for MANY years and it is just causing problems now?!? this is wrong people! keep the anthem the way it is! dont change history

Not really, but most people can't sing it because of the range and it is so often murdered vocally, screeching sopranos, mumbling, and so many people don't remember the words.
If there were a change, America The Beautiful is perfect, it is sung at most events, and mercifully the Anthem is an instrumental.

I like it the way it is but I could understand people wanting a change. The only problem with it is that it takes an opera singer to perform it because of the range.
But any change would be divisive and I would hate to see what liberals would put in its place.
I will say that singing it in another language makes me want violence.

In canada, a lot of people think our anthem is rather boring, but most of us prefer it to songs which mention rockets and bombs. Can't beat the American anthem for it's ability to stir up emotion, though, eh? Personally, I love God Save the Queen and I think if Canada still had that anthem instead of having switched to the one we chose, we might still have emphasis on God and being a collective rather than the godless you in your camp me in mine mentality that seems to be growing here

Let me see if I can say it the why it would sound if it was changed .. .
I pledge to country of USA, land of Mexico. Sorry that was the pledge.. Maybe it should be Oh say can you see by the flag of Mexico....
Or maybe we could use the other one
Oh land of Islam .... (insert that crazy sounding yodling they do here....

I think you should go back to what ever country you came from that you love so much that you want to change our country to match your 3 rd world country.
The USA is number 1 so stop trying to change it to be like someplace else.

No it's something that recognizes your country worldwide, a symbol, like the flag and you don't go change that either.

i love our anthem, im proud everytime i hear it. it has also been our tradition for a long time but maybe its time that we make a new one that is easer for more people to understand

Why would we change it....it a tradition... i cant imagine them playing somethine else before a ballgame or whatever....Were Americans lets keep the tradition.
