I got mine from my bank for $2.00 a roll. The mintage figure has not been completed yet, for the U.S. mint still strikes the coin for special sale. As of Sept 12 the mint has sold 31,226, 500 coin bags,8,176, 1000 coin bags, 777,499, 2 roll sets. The figure of how many bags went to the banks is as yet unknown, but it must be in the 100's of millions. Do not buy coins from newspaper or magazine ads. There are several coin magazines out there that are somewhat safe. This first strike thing, means nothing. It is another way to get your money. In the after market it means little.

25 coin rolls? So you bought $1.25 in United States currency that could be purchased at any bank for $1.25? Now...go to any Bank, or call any branch of the Secret Service, or the Treasury Department, and tell them you bought coins from something called the World Reserve (last I heard, there were 114 different currencies) , and once they stop laughing, ask them what your 25 nickles are worth.
