yes, it's the potassium in the bananas that help prevent cramps... The best source of potassium is in the skin of a potato... So instead of just eating the inside of a baked potato eat the whole thing...

Bananas are a good source of potassium. Potassium is needed for proper nerve conduction and muscle activity. So it is true that bananas can sometimes help with skeletal muscle cramps and spasms. However, menstrual cramps are small contractions triggered by hormones, the uterus is not a skeletal muscle and potassium can't help with that.

Yes, you should eat banannas everyday, but also be drinking enough water everyday, because thats what keeps you from getting these cramps. I get them too, and so far it's the only thing that helps me.

yes they do theres potassium in it but it calms your 'down-there' area. and also- if you reeaaalllllllyy consentrate on eating the banana, youll forget about the cramp :D
