If I got my belly button pierced when im 14? half my friedns are okay with it and want me to get it but some say I would be a $lut. would i??

No.You would be if every shirt in your closet is specifically for showing off your belly button... But other than that no.

That is a stereotype that your friends are calling you, and it is not based on the correct aspect of life either. If you are going to sleep around or become more promiscuous as a result of getting your belly button pierced, then that may be justified, but you can definitely get your belly button pierced and still maintain your individuality.

absolutely not but you should do it because you want to dont do something like that for others because being that you are only 14 you are sooo young you should do things that are going to make you happy dont worry about what others think the people who really matter in your life will always be there to support you. GEtting your belly button pierced wont make you a slut being promiscuous makes you a slut!! Just make sure you do it for you not for anyone else!!!

No when I was 14 everyone in my school started getting their belly buttons pierced. I know girls who got it done when they were 13. Having your belly button pierced does not make you a slut. How is having a piece of metal through a hole in your stomache make you a slut?? I tell you, it doesn't!

You would only be a slut if you had intercourse with the guy who pierced you, as well as everyone in the waiting room... I would be more concerned with infection and discomfort. I have had many piercings from age 14-21 and none of them were that wonderful. They have since all come out, and I have realized that there is truly no point to poking holes in your body where there doesn't need to be any holes.

no thats not true. maybe u should wait around a few years to pierce ur belly button. my friend did at 16 and she had to deal with an infecton which was bad. then at 18 she no longer wanted it and got in out.

I think people have lost the real meaning of that word. I am sometimes considdered the same for having a tongue piercing and i am 25 years old!! I do want to stress that you are pretty young and have to be very sure you want one and can take good care of it. You don't want an infection, trust me. Asked your parents?

No, absolutely not. That is just a silly thing to even say. Having a peircing anywhere does not make a person that. A person is that if they are excessively promiscuous. If you want a piercing and your parents are OK with it then do it. It is all about you and your attitude.

No you wouldn't! Their probably jealous =p. Don't listen to them. =] Get it done if you really want it! I got mine done, it's worth it and it doesn't even hurt! Make sure you get it done when it's not too hot because your belly button with get sweaty when it's healing (takes about two months for it to be fully healed) and it has a bigger chance to get infected. You're not too young neither, I think, if it's okay with your parents then there's no stopping you. Good luck. <3

No your not and i think if your parents are okay with it go for it I have mine done i got it when i was 14 and i really love it, it looks really good. and it only hurts for a little while if you care for it properly and they will tell you how to do that when they give you the piercing.
