How do you usually go about cleaning your house?

♥I prefer cleaning when nobody else is home. Not sure why, I've just always been that way.

That's easy for me, I live alone. I don't mind cleaning, I just do it and "get 'er done".

I usually start with a load of laundry,move my way into the kitchen,then into the living room,then the bathroom,and then the bedrooms. Then I vacuum and finally I'll mop. I don't know why I do it that way either. Just habit I guess. And I clean my bathroom every other day. I am obsessive about a clean bathroom. LOL.

Due to an accident that I had my husband does most of the cleaning. He is a wonderful man and I wouldn't trade for anything. When I was able to I liked to be on my own, start at the bottom and work up to the top, You never know if you are going to have surprise visitor lol.

Definitely like to be alone - that way I can stop when I feel like it without feeling guilty!

I always start at one end of the house and work my way back through. I try to start with the part of the house that everyone sees first, just in case I don't make it all the way around!

To make it less boring, I'll put on headphones and listen to a book on tape.

You may have guessed, I'm no Martha Stewart!

I prefer cleaning alone, to music, too. I am never alone, so I settle for when the wee ones are asleep. I actually have a rotation, where I do the baseboards, fans and bathrooms certain day(s) of the week, because it's endless. I do laundry every day, I dust and sweep every day...no need to add more than a few hated duties to it!

Im the same as you, its easier when no one is around. I usually start at one end of the house and work my way to the other end. First thing I do tho, is get all the laundry to the laundry room and get that going. When all the rooms are picked up and put back in order, I do the vacuuming and the dishes...byt then Im usually done, cept for the damn laundry...lol...

Housework is never ending.

I prefer to clean when I'm alone too, but I live alone, so that's pretty easy to do. I would prefer to not clean at all, but I like a clean house and I can't afford a maid, so I do it reluctantly.

Being single, that responsibility fall to me alone. Personally, I like to think things through thoroughly before I start. I like to consider just where I'll begin, the supplies I'll need, the effort it will take, and the time involved. Then, once I have it all planned, I usually say to hell with it and turn on a ball game.

I try to ask everybody to clean up there own rooms. Then we all pitch in for the rest of the house

Besides no body being home, I need the music playing so its fun. Threes nothing worst than cleaning in silence!

me 2 so nobody in the way of what i'm doing and cant nag me or bother me but since i'm 13 theres always somebody nagging to do something while i'm cleaning the dishes or my room.
