i am having an argument with a seven year old who insists that there are 4 fingers on each hand. she doesnt count the thumb. so my question is. how many fingers do humans have?

Lower limb -toes five (the big one is just that a big toe!)

The seven year old is correct. There are 4 fingers and a thumb on each hand.

Most humans have 2 little fingers, 2 index fingers, 2 middle fingers, 1 ring finger, 1 un-named finger, and 2 THUMBS.

8 if you don't count the thumb 10 if you do, 20 if you count all toes as fingers also, 18 if you count all toes but no thumbs.

Thumb is not a finger cause its a joint shorter humans have 8 fingers and 2 thumbs your kid is smarter then u!!
