We are going with two other families - age range 6 to 17. We are thinking about Majorca but it has to be lively enough for the youngsters. Price is a big consideration. We obviously need decent food and rooms large enough for two adults and two children. Cleanliness is obviously a priority. Please help as we are going round in circles looking at reviews.

We went to the Iberostar Phenincia hotel in Tunisia which is all-inclusive, they have several pools (children and adult only), kids clubs and one of the best beaches we have ever been to., This hotel is outstanding even your beach beds are included in the price. Pool towels are also provided. Food is top notch and there is something for everyone. Check out comments on www.holiday-truth.com. We booked through panorama which I believe is part of the mytravel group. I would definitely recommend this hotel and it wasn't expensive. You can also look at the hotel by logging on to www.iberostar.com

On holidayholiday.com they start from £209 for 7 nights all inclusive they have some good deals.
Thomas cook have some nice deals but I always find there sites a little teedious and complex its not easy to find what you want.
directline-holidays again have some nice cheap all inclusives and their site is much ergonomically designed if its user friendly your after to book this site is just as fine as holidayholidayholiday.co.uk
The holidayplace has again some really nice places and some deals but tend to be rather over priced as a rule.
Ultimately Id go to a travel agent in the high street and shop around but if you dont have the time then I hope this helps...by the way when you do go...have a real nice time and beware of pick pockets, never leave your money in your room unless its in a safe deposite box and for gods sake if you book a taxi ask the hotel owner to get one for you or you may be way out of pocket.

First Choice travel is very good, they will find a holiday to suit you and still be resonably priced. the co-op travel agents is also good, they deal in a lot of first choice holidays and give good discounts when booking and give you points on your tesco club card too! Lanzarote and feuterventura in the canaries are nice, lots for the kids.
