People have different tastes - nothing wrong with not liking what your friends like. Nobody "needs" to eat meat. You'll get plenty of protein from dairy, eggs, beans, grains, etc. Just don't be a "fries and pies" vegetarian who eats nothing but junk food! Vegetarians who eat a reasonably sensible diet feel better and live longer than meat-eaters, so listen to your body when it rejects meat. You'll have more energy, and you're less likely to need Viagra when you're older!

Eating meat is bad for the environment, too. And an animal didn't die to make your meal. Good for you!

i have a friend just like you. she totally hates how meat tastes and she feels sorry about animals dieing so she just tells everyone that she's a vegetarian. i think your taste buds are just different and everybody doesnt have to like the same thing, eat what you like but since you dont like or want to eat meat, try eating fish so that you can still get some protein, which is very important. you might also just be going through a phase of growing and hormones and stuff if you're like a teen or kid.

im kinda like that too, but different because i hate everything thats bland and when i was little, i refused to eat bread, pancakes, toast, eggs(unless covered in mayo and seasoning), and everything else that had mild flavoring. i was reading about my horoscope and it said that my sign(scorpio) LOVES overly seasoned things... so its all good.

try eating meat in a different form like in a corndog or in an eggroll. you need your protein!!

Your probably not cooking it right or over analyzing the feel of chewing it. If cooked correctly, it taste wonderful and melts in your mouth (or really easy to chew).
