I took the test at a Health department.
I have another question, once I sign the papers, I get the result asap. and if there was something wrong with me, will the new hospital or health department will help me get vaccine or medicine?

Where did you take the test? Your doctor is the only one who is permitted to tell you the results. Schedule an appointment. When you are at the MD office you can also sign the relase forms. Best of health and wellness.

It sounds like you took the test in the city you left, am I correct? You've left out a lot of key information. A doctor had to have ordered this, the blood had to been drawn at a draw station or in a hospital outpatient setting. Why did you not let the facility know about your impending move before you made it? Don't call anymore hospitals or testing facilities unless it's the one where the test was run. Speak to Medical Records and ask your question. You can also contact the office of doctor who ordered the test and get help there.

Okay, I see the additonal info now. Thanks. Contact the Health Dept., request an Authorization to Release Medical Information and have them fax or mail it to you. On the release form you will need to specify exactly what it is you want and the date of service. Request that the report be faxed or mailed to you. If the results are positive, you will need to establish with a new primary health care provider. Make an appointment and bring the report with you. This new provider with initiate all further needed care.
