First, make sure you have the lastest version of limewire-which I think is the 4.12. Go to the tool bar at the top then click on options. It should bring up a list. If iTunes is not on the list, you need to update your version. Also, limewire users have the option of NOT sharing their itunes, so that may be a factor if all other things check out. Also....Sharing files is not illegal-limewire is not illegal. It is illegal for them to ADVERTISE free downloading of music.

First let me explain something about music files. There is no such thing as a "realplayer'" song, or "WMP" song or "itunes" songs. They are all music files and can be played by nearly every player. The results you get are a result of your default media player, Realplayer. iTunes are meant to be downloaded to a specific player and may be formatted so they will not play on a computer.
Now let me tell you about Limewire. Limewire is a peer-to-peer (p2p) file sharing program. You request files, someone who has files in their shared folder shares them with you. If they had an iTune in there you could get it. You are only gonna get what they share and that's it.

No. Limewire is not compatable with Itunes. Limewire is its own little thing to burn CDs. Itunes cost money and 2Limewire does not.
