Just bummin' about at home; everything I need is here. And maybe enjoying the company of family or, at a push, friends. Spending time working in MY garden, making it perfect. Bombing out in front of MY fish tanks and dreaming of other worlds while the music I like flows around me. Finding my mate curled up some place reading a book, and telling her nothing when she asks wassup.
Just being in a place and in situations where it's easy to be still, and serene.
I always reckon you know you had a good weekend if you spent it bare-footed and didn't have to use an alarm.

My perfect weekend would be to go with my husband to Danford's Inn in Port Jefferson, LI and spend the weekend in a suite and on the balcony overlooking Port Jeff Harbor. We'd spend the time just relaxing, sipping champagne, and enjoying each other.

Sunrise on the beach at Daytona, blueberry pancakes and bacon for breakfast, riding a fourwheeler down the beach to the Levy, inexpensive seafood buffet on the Waterway, Margaritas and a Reggae band at a seaside bar, walking the pier after dark, making love on a sand dune, fireworks, sleeping in somebody's arms, winning the lottery while I'm there, no traffic coming home.

No homework, going somewhere with friends, and a trip to Cedar Point. And it would be a 3 day weekend, Saturday Sunday and Monday.

Start with Friday. Take off work a little early, meet my sweetie at an outdoor concert. Bands we both love, mixture of fun songs and love songs. Have dinner, do some drinking, listen to the music, under the stars, dancing, singing, spending time together. Go home, take a nice warm bath together, candlelight, and then go to bed. Wake up Saturday morning, have coffee together, read the paper, laughing over the stupid things people do, and discussing the others. then sit at the table and plan our day. We would go visit his or my parents, have lunch with them, just sit around and visit, maybe look through old pictures of us as children and laugh. In the afternoon, go see a movie, then call our friends and get together for dinner. Go have a nice dinner, maybe do a little karaoke... (he'd sing to me) go back to our house and play cards or board games with our friends. They would leave around 11:00, we would go to bed. Sunday morning, we'd get up, get ready, go to breakfast, then go to church. After church, we'd go either to the fair or the zoo, have some fun and then go home and collapse, just absolutely exhausted. We'd cuddle up on the couch together and watch tv, something funny and laugh together. Then we'd figure out something for dinner, both of us cook it together... Of course we'd be playing and teasing and laughing the whole time. Then we'd eat and go to bed early to get ready for our hectic workday. That would be an absolutely perfect weekend.

Not having anything to do. Staying up late Friday night and watching TV or movies and having a few drinks to relax. Sleeping in late. Going shopping and to the movies.
