What is the best way to get a girl you like to get interested in you?

I've liked this girl for a while now, but when I asked her how she felt about me she said and i quote, 'Your my buddy. I like it that way.'

I really like this girl a lot. I've known her most of her life. Anytime she needs advice she comes to me.
When she was having doubts about her last boyfriend, she asked me what she should do.

I told her to dump him and she did.

But don't think I told her to do it because of any stupid reason, they didn't talk for about three weeks straight and plus he barely spoke English.

We talk on a daily basis, and I feel like I'm just wasting my time now.

I'll still hang out with her and do stuff. That won't change but what should I do and what can I do?

Please only serious responses.
I will report you if you write anything stupid.

I do want honest answers.
What I don't want is stupid answers such as, 'pull your dick out' and stupid stuff like that.

I do love her so no matter what happens, I'll always be her friend.

When I say I love her i mean it in the way that I've known her since I was three.
That's when she was born.
I love her because she loves me.
Just not in that way I guess.

She doesnt like you. She is just trying to be nice to you and she probably thinks you are a nice guy, but she is not interested in you romantically. Sorry. Do you look anything like her non english speaking boyfriend? Thats her type of man.

I can understand why you have your doubts. You must also understand that perhaps she also has her doubts, after all you are both entitled to have them.

She probably feels safe with you and feels that starting a relationship would ruin that friendship. You must also choose whether you want to risk the possibility of losing this friendship by going where you both may not belong, that is in an intimate relationship.

I personally have loving but not intimate relationships with more than one woman. I am satisfied with that, knowing that possibly, ( and by the way it has happened to my in the past ) should the relationship develop into something else, I would totally lose this friend.

I you can't go on without this relationship developing further, and you are willing to take the chance, then understand that you must pour you feeling out to this girl and make her feel that doing this is the only way to prevent losing such an opportunity as you.

Good Luck!

First of all, you are on the right track for being friends first, however, she seems clear that this is all she wants. You asked her how she felt about you but perhaps you should tell her how you feel about her. Be honest without being aggressive. Then step back and give it time to sink in, maybe a week at most. Don't be pushy--be cool. Buy her flowers one day and ask her for a date--this is as honest as you can get. See where it goes. Always show interest in her and ask questions that demonstrate this. Whatever you do, never say that you love her until you have given her and yourself time to know what you really feel.

If she has a close girlfriend that you like, have this girl ask her if it would be ok to date you. Sometimes people take a good thing for granted and need to see that they risk losing it if they continue the way they are.

The worst that can happen is that she says yes, and you start dating a girl that you like.

Seems like a win win.

If you dont feel being friends is going anywhere, if you have no interest in just being friends, then i strongely urge that you tell her how you feel, and if she tells you the same buddy crap then forget about her and find someone else. Its not healthy.

the only way you'll know is to tell her. or when the timing is right, ask her if you can kiss her.

It's tough.
