I read the book
I don't know how the terrorist would go after that if we are speaking about "The Andromeda Strain"
but if we are speaking about the biological threats and wars , well we shouldn't fear from terrorists but from the countries that use the biological weapons in its weaponry
like the Russia "ex: Soviet Union " , the United States, Israel , in fact if you read all the scenarios on how a terrorist act based upon biological weapon would start , it always starts with a a theft of some viruses from an official lab
I blame governments more than terrorists in using such weapons , terrorists wouldn't have thought in that way about bio weapons , if the governments hadn't had made them in the first place
but on the other hand it can happen , do you remember the Tokoyo subaways terrorist attacks !!??

It is a great film from the early Seventies, and I think did a great job in showing the Scientific method at solving a problem, even in the far out futuristic underground facility they were at! Some people thought that the film was a bit boring and talky, but I liked that for those reasons they they did not cut slack and instead tried to show the Scientific method as it is within the context of a far out premise of an Alien born virus, unlike now when most Sci-fi films take great liberty with the truth.

That movie had nothing to do with terrorists. A spacecraft crashed to earth in a small town carrying a virus that killed everyone.

I remember it. And, yes, I do believe that there are terrorists that would go that far.
