ok, so there's this guy i go to church with every monday. My friends say that he was very loud, but every since i came he has become quite, When we look eye to eye he looks away and he always offers to take my books. I don't know if he likes me or if he is just being polite. I have never really talked to him, but thats because i don't know how! its not easy to go up to HIM and say hi! Any advise and what do you think? (please don't be to mean)

he most likely does, but don't act like you know it. Ask a friend to ask another friend that you don't know to ask him if he likes you. It won't seem like you sent her because you don't know her! Hope that wasn't too confusing

Sometimes the direct approach is best, just ask. But if that seems too bold for your liking, look for the following signs. Pay attention to your conversations with the person in question.
1) Does this person show a special interest in having a conversation with you and, once started, make an effort to keep that conversation going?
2) Has this person taken a sudden interest in your life and hobbies? This is a sure sign that he or she is interested in something.
3) Other elements of body language include frequent eye contact, holding your gaze and looking down before looking away.
4) Does the person you're wondering about just plain smile at you a lot?

Seing as the change came about with your arival.... I'd say either he likes you or he's afraid of you. I'm inclined to believe that he's fallen ard for you and just may not know quite how to ask you out. I thihnk you should ask him out. Don't ask him to dinner or anything. That might freak him out especially if he's the kind who would prefer to do the asking. You could ask him to the park or to something a lot of your friends would be at. That way you let him know that you wouldn't mind his company. YOu should try to get to know him better. Talk to him. Find out what eh likes and dislikes. YOu'll be even better off then cuz you'll know if he's the type you wanna hang out with. Good luck

i can say that he just being polite to you.. i think he didnt have feeling on you..besides, you and him didnt even talk yet.. so i advise you, not to rush in relationship, find the real true one.. take your time to get to know him deeply.. and bout your other ques, its not nice for girls to laugh loudly, it will be nice if you be sweet and behave your self.

i think he prolly likes you, which is cool..... but you need to get up and talk to him and let him know that you like him. and no, its not unatractive to smile and laugh with your friends.... it shows that you are outgoing and genneraly a happy person!

I think he does like you, but before you do anything, talk to him!! you never no if you ask him out before noing him what could happen, but if you talk to him and get to no him and like him, ask him out

sounds like he likes you...tell him you wanna carry HIS books...see how he reacts. it's not uncommon for a girl to ask a guy out...guys actually get flattered by that.
