What, over a 65 year span has made the US so compelling to Hispanics? Greed, and not Liberals, Farmers, then corporations who need the cheap labor. Who cannot get Caucasians to doe the work. Who would contract for thousands of braceros to do the work to feed America. You know nothing of the history of capitalization on the low pay, no benefit, no nothing that made others rich. You know nothing of the millions of dollars with held from illegals checks that are never paid to the State or Federal Governments, because the employee is illegal anyway and dare not complain.
Your question was the 'cause' of illegal immigration, and there is wrong doing on both side of the border, but the blame lies more heavily on the employers who have broken the law without impunity for decades.
As for the ballot being in both languages, GOOD! It encourages good citizenship, and everyone should have the right to vote!

Correction-- People are only immigrants if they legally enter a country through request. Otherwise they are already illegal. Call them what they are..illegal ALIENS.
These illegals better not be caught trying to vote either way, in English or Spanish.

No amount of pandering to illegal immigrants would surprise me. However this would backfire on the politician. Liberals are on the way out, just like the wigs. They don't have a platform anymore all they do is complain or support causes that hurt the United States.

Most States have multi lingual ballots.
You need to leave Appalachia ever once and a while to see what is going on in America

Duh. A name is a name!
And what exactly is your question? What's the cause of illegal immigration? Whenever you have huge discrepancies in the standard of living between adjoining countries, you will have porous borders.
