Local ordinances vary from location to location. In some locations you are prohibited from burying livestock. The city or county will have a number that you can call for disposal. You can have the body interred at a private pet cemetery or cremated.

You can contact an animal crematorium, and have the horse cremated. If the horse has been put to sleep by lethal injection, this will have to be done, as it is not safe to bury an animal in thr ground, that has been given so much euthanasia liquid. If the horse has been shot or died naturally, you can bury it. Using a JCB is best. Thats the rules where I live anyway.

You can cremate the body or bury in the ground. There are also places you can call like animal control and they will tell you what to do with the body.

Through the years when any of my horses died, we had them cremated. When my Mustang died, I had him buried. He had been with me over 32 years so he was a member of my family. He was buried at his favorite spot in the pasture and has a marker on his grave. Most cities have an animal disposal company that will come get them

Depending on where you live you cannot bury them. You can call companies that will pick them up for you. I think its hide companies you need to look for. They charge but they do everything. If you want cremation contact a local vet.

usually in the county you can bury them or have them cremated, or you can look inthe phone book for animal disposal and they will pick it up, most of the time animal disposal ones take them to a rendering plant.. to be made into dog food or other by products...cities and some counties have laws prohibiting burials because of heavy human population so depends where you live....

I am in the UK and both mine were collected by Cambridge Pet Crematorium and cremated. Then I had their ashes back in a casket. See their website. I cant praise them enough. They were fantastic and I got better service off them than I did for my Dad/Mum and brother!

If you cant afford that (about £300) try contacting your local Hunt to see if they will take the body away...does get fed to the dogs though.

You call an animal disposal company. They will dispose of the body probably by cremation.

Bury it is what i would say...some people take it to the glue house. But i'm sure you would not do that.
