Glue On Fake Nails

2016-11-14 01:04:37 · answer #2 · answered by ? 4 · 0 0

It's not the brightest idea. They make nail glue for a reason. Super glue is Super strong (hints the name "Super Glue"), I would rather go out and buy nail glue rather than going to the doctor and getting it removed for like $50. What I am trying to say is Super Glue is not at all safe to use as nail glue!!!

Super-glueing your fakenails on isn't a super-smart idea, but they will come off. YOu will most likely have some damage to your nails (probably not permanent, unless you used a lot). Next time, use the actual nail glue or elmers.

Yikes. I used to be cosmetologist and that was one of the don't do's. At this point your nails are destroyed no matter what approach you take. Count on about 3-4 months before you have normal nails again. Some people simply keep getting their nails filled at this point and keep them permanently as they do know the nails underneath or going to be soft, brittle and thin. Or grow them out and trim them off bit by bit. If you soak them with acetone or non-acetone, the same result, your nails will be mush. Good luck!

The skin under the nail need to breath. Covering the nail cuts off air circulation to the nail bed and is unhealthy. Please try buffing your nails to a shine rather than using polish or fake nails.

As far as getting the ones you have off, you are going to have to soak them for quite a while. Be very patient. If you try to force them off when they are not ready you can pull of part of the nail or a layer of it too. See if there is anything on the super glue tube or their website that will help.

I did fake nails once and used the glue in the kit and that stuff damaged my nails. I had to wait months for them to grow out to healthy nails again.

The natural oils in your body and normal bathing will soften the crazy glue, and the false nails will fall off. It won't hurt your regular nails. Be Patient. It might take a week or so.

no. they're being stoooopid. all you have to do is use an orange stick (the pointy stick used for pushing back 'ugly' cuticles) and if that doesnt work, soak ur hands (nails) in hot water for about 30min-1hour and they should come off lik *that* with the orange stick. ............there really isnt a big difference between superglue and nail glue. they're both annoying as a mofo to get off of ur fingers :D

no i do it all the time, usually if i want to take them off i do the dishes by hand then while my nails are still warm and soft i pry them from the sides with an orange stick, until thay pop off.

Get some 100% acetone nail polish remover, that should work.
