Started dating a beautiful lady from Thailand, met her thru the internet.I invited her over to stay with me for a month so we can get to know each other better. We sleep in seperate rooms cause she wants to to wait until she is married, which i totally respect. The only problem, well fault, is she leaves the toilet seat up ,when i ask her about it she gets upset and runs to her room.Is this custom for women from Thailand to do this. This may sound petty but i have 2 teenage daughters who live with me and they moan about it all the time.

I think she is really a HE. I know of NO Asian culture that the women leave the seat up!

I have the same problem. My man is Thai and he does the same thing!!! Although, his family doesn't so it's just her bein lazy about it. The only thing you can do is say it in a nicer way. Just tell her that in our country females should always put the seat down (cant say anything on behalf of men, seein as our own men in this country hardly ever do it!!!)

Sounds like she is a drama queen and is playing you. Tell her firmly that the rules in your house are that the seat must be left down... (BTW- are you sure she IS a "she"?)
