Basically, I am asking for some one who may be able to tell me how to work out a fixture list for 12 teams, I did have a table of a v b etc, but have mislaid it. I am really stuck.

Have the teams draw number 1-12 then, you can do a very simple schedule. Kind of like a round robin so everyone will play each other at least once.
1-12;2-11;3-10;4-9;5-8;6-7
then just move the numbers over once so 1 will play 11, then 1 will play10 and so one. Take to best 3 to make the play-offs with the number 1 seed having a bye then who every wins the play off with 2 against 3 will play the number one.

only thing to be aware of is do any of the teams play at the same venue (A or B teams) as you would have to make sure that they are not both scheduled to have home fixtures.on the same night. and also any dates that the teams may not be able to play on.

You could try the website, www.leaguerepublic.com I play for a pool team and the that website has all sorts on it, its a free site and it is for any sport. It may be of some use.

You need a spreadsheet. Go into Excel or Microsoft Office .
There should be a template in there which will show you how to do it. Failing that, get back to me and I should probably be able to do it for you.
