As many responders have pointed out already you can not smell space because it is almost a complete vacuum. However I understand that based on the analysis of the gasses and dust that float around in space it would have a "burnt" smell if you could actually smell it. This makes sense because most of the objects occupying space are objects that are in a sense "burning" like stars.

i do not know but can suppose that smell should be the same of the Hidrogen gas, very lightly, as far as space is filled basically with H molecules, with a very small concentration, . Difference with atmospheric air consists in that concentration or density of H in air -lets say - be 10 at 20power molec. per cubic meter, while in space the relation is -lets say- 1 molecule per 1000 cubic meters, for instance.

Space doesn't smell like anything. It's a vaccum of matter which means that nothing is up there... not even air. Without air, smells don't exist.

hey ,buddy you ought to know one thing that is space is devoid of air and without air you cannot smell anything.so basically space has no smell
