My fish, Freddy, seems a bit depressed, so I bought him some treats. I bought a huge tube of freeze-dried bloodworms, and he snubs them. What other treats are there for bettas?

He eats his normal food like a pig.

Many of my fish will not eat frozen blood worms (but love them when they are live). Try a bit of frozen brine shrimp, freeze dried tubiflex worms, and things like that.

He should like the bloodworms. Fish are not like humans - getting depressed. They meay seem "off" if hey are unwell. You can't really cheer them up like a child with treats. It is possible he isn't feeling well.

Live blackworms, frozen brine shrimp or frozen black or bloodworms. Live brine shrimp would give him some sport as he chases them down to have his treat.

Many fish stores carry the live foods, and most pet stores carry the frozen ones.

Bettas are carnivores.
Mine likes shredded cocktail shrimp.
Other foods that are good are: mosquito larvae, daphnia, fruit flies, white worms, etc.

I won't feed tubifex because it's a host for sporidian parasites.

You cant give bettas a lot of food, that makes them sick, if they are healthy then they will be colorful but if they are over-fed then they will be just one color and it wont be bright.

They LOVE bloodworms, but make sure you dont overfeed them, cause they cant control themselves...they will eat themselves to death :(
