Well i don't know exactly about the medication part, but Aveeno is REALLY good. I have exczema and it is the only lotion that i can us. i reccommend the one with cooling menthol. if that doesn't work ask your doctor or pharmacist.

First, do you have to continue the medication? I would call my doctor first. Then consider having them look at it. I am taking a medication that makes me light and heat senstive. I was wearing my rings and it caused a "burn" look and feel in the area of the rings. I can not wear them anymore, or at least until my medication is done.
As for what to do. I would suggest, if the MD does not object, stop using the product, clean the area really well, and then look for bag balm (pet store) or heavy duty skin cream. Make sure this is not a burn effect. If it is, you may want to treat it with a burn cream.
