It depends on the guy. Every guy has different ways of showing that he cares.
The question is....Is he your currrent boyfriend or your ex?
For an Ex.......
Think back to the way he acted before you dated him, What gave you ideas that he may have liked you? Does he still act like that? Does he still hang out with you? Is he reluctant to date other girls?
For your current boyfriend....
Do you still have the same passion that you shared when you started dating? Has he changed the way he treats you? Do you still kiss as much?

I would simply ask. If you avoid you start to resent him and your posistion. Just do,.. push the fear out and DO IT. If I had to do it it would go smoothly because I know how to handle that kind of thing. Say have you lost your feelings for me?,, then say if so then do you think we should go our separet ways or work though something if there is an issue. It will be okay,.. if you need more from me write to me. My e-mail is posted.

first of all, tell him how you're feeling and ask him if he still does
second, you can tell by the way he treats you- kisses, hug, loves you..... yatty ya its really not that hard to tell
