Yes, every time I meet someone from my home area, which is so far away, i almost always feel a special connection or bond...

Not really. It might spark up conversation, but I've found that I dislike most of the people in the town I grew up in almost as much as I dislike the town itself. I feel more connection to people from other countries that I've read about or traveled to.

yes i do cause then they know where you come from or why you think a certain way about things.I met a guy in the army come to find out he was from the next town over! To bad we had to meet when he's over seas and not at the mcdonalds we all hung out at! just diff times!

Yes, or when they attended the same school, or even when they know someone that I know. It's a cold, lonely world, and it's refreshing to meet someone who might actually share something in common with you.

sure i think i would....cause then we would have so much in common and we could relate on a certain level...you know and that could always help us to open up to each other and stuff :)
