Because men are afraid of losing control, and lets face it we really don't have any control when it comes to creating new life and that scares us. When our girl friends get pregnant some of us run off to join the Foreign Legion, some pressure her to get an abortion, and others bomb clinics. It takes a real man to stand up and take responsibility, to comfort and aid his partner through what is an even scarier ordeal for her.

To some degree it is an effort to control a woman's sexuality, there is a fear that if pregnancy isn't a consequence then she will 'run wild' and be unfit for marriage to an insecure male. Too many overlook the fact that they have a reputation for being gung-ho daddies when the tots are little and cute and then taking off when its less cute and convenient. Child support is a joke in this country and we really ought to look at what we have to do to get men to understand a lifetime of paying and caring is a must for them and not an option. When it costs THEM in time and money, they stop being so pro- life when its their lifestyles on the line. Too be fair though some men just feel that way for religious reasons or their own morality and I have no quarrel with that since they would never have premarital sex and so will never have to face that problem for themselves or the women they date.
Right?

Because it is usually men who are militantly anything. I personally hope that can change, but traditionally women talk and men act. Married men take action to try to make their wives stop talking, but married women talk to try to get their husbands to do stuff. The proof is in your examples. It is entirely inconsistent and nonsensical that someone should kill to demonstrate being pro-life. It must therefore be a case of men acting upon something they don't understand. Where could they get such ideas? From their wives, obviously.
I take a non-traditional approach. I talk. And when it's time to listen, I actually listen- as opposed to just waiting for the talker to shut up; as opposed to getting frustrated at having to listen so much. And then I go one more step: I can care about what someone is saying without feeling the need to own the other person's thoughts. If my wife really wants something done, I'll encourage her to do it. And if I really want to be heard...I'll say something. Complicated, I know, but sometimes it works.
By the way, I am neither anti-life nor anti-choice. I just recognize that the only life and the only choices within my jurisdiction are my own. And I vote.

Because for men, reproduction ends at orgasm. Men:
1. Don't have to bear the child and go through the agony of birthing the child.
2. Can run off and saddle the mother with the costs and problems of raising the child alone.
3. Attempt to use the issue as a wedge to gain or keep power.

Because men don't have to give birth. Also I don't like the idea of my seed being, well, killed. I am personally against abortion and if I got a women pregnant I would want her to have the baby. I do believe that people have the right to choose so for everyone but me abortion is alright.

It is about valuing life. Military men have put there lives on the line for others and value life in all forms. Those that chose abortion value convenience above the life of their own offspring.

Oh give me a break, most of the people I know who are prolife are women.
I know many women who also regret their abortions.
So you tell me why so many militantly PROABORTION women deny and piss on women who are in mourning and say they regret their abortion.
You also tell me why these militant proabortionists don't care about abortion procedure after the first trimester, how brutal, bloody and offensive it is to human rights.
so called "fetus" or not, it's still a LIVING , human, preborn.
Your lot would give more rights to a pet than to a BABY that can FEEL. You wouldn't care if they dismembered it in cold blood, alive, stabbed it in the back of the head and sucked it's brains out. You people are crazy.
Admit it, you hate humanity, any baby dead is a day to celebrate.

Because they are not the ones having the baby. My wife always says if men had to have babies there would be coin operated abortion clinics on every corner.

Some men like to kill babies, just like some women.
There's good money in it.
Are you making a bunch of money off abortion?
If so, you are probably getting rich.
