domination of oil as a source of energy?

will the oil as main source of enery persisit in this century or other alternative sources will be found ?

it will continue to be the most used energy source for many years. Until we run out, or find something that cheaper. What people don't think of is.. sure when we run out of crude oil...we run out of gasoline, diesel, etc. But we also run out of plastic! And the countless other things we make from petroleum. We are in for quite a awaking soon....

I definitely believe that nuclear energe will have taken over oil energe till 3/4 of the century so around 2075...
