Nice try rossm. I bet some people here actually fell for it.

But seriously, the SI unit for gayness is of course the APT ( Anal Penetration Tendency) as decided upon by the international SI commitee in March 1987.

The Standard International measurement of gayness is the homo (h). The homo ranges between 0hand 78h. A heterosexual person has an index of 0h, whereas a raving queen would have an index somewhere in the region of 70h.

The homo has been widely criticised as it is a very subjective index. ie a straight-acting gay may rate lower on the h scale than a gay acting gay. It's most famous critic in recent times is the magician Paul Daniels who is very outspoken about the subject.
