Depression is common during pregnancy because the hormone fluctuations, but you should call your doctor as soon as possible and let them know what you are experiencing.
You should make it a point to eat,
you are harming yourself an your baby by not eating properly.
Don't you have any friends or family to talk to?
If you don't you should consider a therapist of some type. Everyone needs someone to talk to and with your BF working all the time, that isn't emotionally healthy for you.

Ahh the baby blues! Sometimes women mistake depression for the very normal mood swings of pregnancy. These mood swings may be more pronounced because your 30 weeks.. Some common symptoms of true depression addition to feeling sad, empty, emotionally lethargic, and sleep disturbances ( too little or too much ) changed eating habits.. and sometimes even the lack of ability to concentrate.. IF you do have a true depression its really important to talk to your Dr. about refering you to a therapist that handles baby blues and offers supportive psychotherapy.

Oh sweetie, depression during pregnancy can be so scary and isolating. Please know that you are not alone! If you have a history of depression there are safe medications that can help you during and after pregnancy and birth. Please let you're doctor or midwife know how you are feeling.
In the mean time, go for a brisk walk to release some natural endorphins. Eat foods high in vitamin E an B 12, as these are known to ease depression.
Good luck to you and you're baby. I will keep you in my thoughts.

Hello JJ,
Just dropped by to let you know that you are being heard. I wouldn't try to give you any advice for you to follow but I will say that it is normal to have highs and lows through pregnancy. It's a pity your b/f has to work such long hours, but that is the lot of many people these days. Try to get over the lonely feeling by reading something that will lift your spirits, and you know they say that it is possible to encourage the love of music in the little unborn Angel by playing beautiful music while you relax. All the while looking forward to the time spent with your b/f when he comes home. He probably knows that you are feeling lonely and also knows that he must work to be able to take care of you really well. He will be feeling bad about it too. Try to let him see that you are able to manage on your own and he will be rushing home to his girl to hear all the new things she has planned. Everything will be alright and in no time at all you will have a little person to talk to all the time....but you must take care of yourself and that little person now. The little one is depending on you to take good care untill you can give hugs. Do whatever your doctor tells you to do and everything will be fine. God Bless X

Why are you so depressed? Pregnancy is a wonderful experience. I have to admit that I get a little sad too sometimes but when I think about seeing my little baby and holding him, I feel so happy.
Try to think about the positive and know that they are women who want to be pregnant and can't have children. You have been blessed, so try to appreciate it. (Good Luck)!!!

Depression should not be taken lightly. If you are only eating once a day, it's not good for you or for the baby. Seek professional help at once.

It is normal that you are depressed but think about the baby and eat even if you dont feel up to it. Go and talk to therapist, there is nothing to be ashamed of.
