Any gentle exercise will help to keep joints supple.
Glucosamine will help, but I know a product that not only contains glucosamine but 7 other biological complex carbohydrates that will add to the benefits. Why try one, when you can times the effects by 8?
Due to the stupidity of government regulations I am not allowed to mention the product name, how daft is that? I have been using it for 3 years and it has not only sorted out my joint problems, but various other ailments too. The products contents were formulated from the science of glycobiology, which took 4 Nobel Prizes, so we are not talking Snake Oil here.
For information on the science behind all ailments you would be advised to take a look at the following website. www.skin-gi.com
This stuff works.
Take care and good luck

Ive had rheumatoid arthritis since my mid twenties. i do 'yogalates' at home as this does not strain the joints and it does really keep you in shape.look on eBay for the DVD. i also go swimming regularly. i came off my anti-inflammatory and opted for lifestyle changes e.g. exercise, cut out coffee, quit ciggies. these help but unfortunately do not cure. when i have a 'flare up' i make sure I'm mobile but i don't push myself. it's a bummer to have but there are worse conditions. I'm not quite a rickety old goat just now but i can't do what i could even just 5 years ago. if this is new for you, you may actually develop a higher pain threshold and what would bother you at one time, you find yourself being able to cope better with. all the best.

I have the same problems, i fine that if i make time in the morning to axises it helps me through the day. There is an axises ball you can buy from most supper markets or sport shops. it has a very good axises quid that is very informative, it was introduced to me by my physiotherapist, it as worked Wonder's for me, it allows you to excise without strain due to the ball taking all the weight of the part of the body you may be working on, Hope this helps

Try glucosamine sulphate tablets from the health shop. ,They really work to take aches and pains away. They take a long time to get into your system.... about a month so you have to be patient. I know loads of people who take them and say they do them good.
You could also ask your GP for a blood test for Polymyalgia because that makes you have really bad pains all over the body. Not many people have heard of this illness . The dr would prescribe steroids which would take the pain away immediately.

Ever thought of trying Chiropractics? I used to get bad cramps around my monthly cycle, and headaches every day for almost 3 weeks. The first week after I started going to the Chiropractor, those things were relieved. My cramps were minimal around "that time", and I had no more headaches. I stopped going when I moved, and my cramps started worsening and the headaches eventually came back. Think about it and give it a try!

Were you diagnosed with arthritis? The joint pain suggests that in many cases. Yoga or any activity with more slow movements may help (flexibility exercises, for instance). Ice the areas that are swollen after use too.

It is just like that. For your symptoms, the only solution is ayurvedic treatment. Because for arthritis, allopathic medicines do not work. They usually give you antiinflammatory or analgesic drugs, which only give temporary relief. But in ayurvedic treatment, you will get permanent relief. But for this you must contact a very good qualified ayurvedic physician.

Joint pain or stiffness of the joint may be caused by overexertion, injuries, arthritis, muscle pain, bursitis and other diseases. Some types of joint pains can be completely cured but for other types of joint pain (like pain caused by osteoarthritis), treatment will only reduce the pain. You should be tested for fibromyalgia. Maybe you need special treatment for that. Sounds like you have a type of arthritis.
