There is not enough information here to answer your questions. Why was she barred from seeing her son? Did she abuse him? Did she give him up for adoption? Is she considered unsafe for any reason? You need to give more information to obtain the answer you are seeking.

Depends if the court deems the parent unfit at the time, especially if there is drug and alcohol rehab program time involved and program completion. Otherwise, it may have to do with other issues if she was incarcerated for a felony, or was ordered to pay child support and did not do it, or caused physical harm to the child in abuse case.

You are going to need to provide a little more information on this topic. The courts obviously didn't pick her and her child out of a crowd one day and separate them just for fun and giggles. What was the reason they were separated, and why does the court feel the need to extend this? They have to have their reasons and you above all others should be opening your eyes wide open on this one. This woman could have your children one day.

Why has society failed so badly that parents do such bad things that the courts have to take away their children? You fail to mention what your fiance did to lose her child. Courts don't take away these rights without a good reason. Perhaps it's time for your fiance to take responsibility for her actions and stop blaming someone else.

Maybe she can keep herself out of trouble so she's not seen as an unfit parent by the courts!

No court terminates parental rights lightly - but they will do it in a heartbeat if they think the kid is endangered.
