I have feelings for someone who lives 500 miles from me. She has similiar feelings, but not exactually the same. Is moving to be with her and giving up a good job worth it?

You know, that is nice, but it would put such a strain on the relationship. If it didn't work out, for any reason, you'd be so resentful of all you gave up. Don't go overboard, you'll completely scare her off.

Perhaps you could take some time off work (holidays) to spend time with her, but I certainly wouldn’t suggest you quit your job when you don’t even know if you love each other or not.
If she doesn’t work, it would probably make more sense for her to go and spend time with you.
Either way, you should be more certain of your feelings toward each other before you go making such major decisions. Good jobs aren’t that easy to come by !!!

No. Not yet. Think before you act. If this becomes a truly mutual relationship that you both can plan together for, that's fine. But a sudden act on your part could be seen as hurrying things way too fast.

I would try to travel and see each other first. I wouldn't give up a good job and move yet. Give it some time.
That's a big step.

I'd do the phone for a while until you know that she really wants you there. I wouldn't move, or lose a great job for a "maybe" situation. Good Luck! :)

i met this guy one year ago who absolutely swept me off my feet. he lived in orlando and i in richmond. he drove overnight, nonstop to be with me and we have been so happy together. he got a divorce and i left a 6 year relationship to be together. at the time we both we really just following our hearts and now when we think about it and reflect its really an amazing story that has worked out so wonderfully. guess you never know unless you try.
