The laws regarding cannabis for personal use in UK are very complex. In Holland they have a much more liberal view on the matter.

Cannabis is still illegal in the UK. It is a Class C drug which means that possession of a small amount for personal use is a minor offence but you can still be arrested for it and procecuted. Some police forces have the discretion to confisicate small amounts of cannabis on the street without arresting but not all and it is up to the individual police officer as to whether they arrest or not.

Only know about the UK.
Cannabis is classed as a Class C drug which still has a power of arrest if you are found in possession of it.
