Ugh, I wouldn't name a child after a characteristic: Serenity, Hope, Faith, Charity, Chastity..... think of the pressure to live up to the name! What if you have a wild child and everyone laughs at her in school every time she has to tell someone "I'm Serenity"? Think of the jokes that will be made at her expense!

If it was my kid, things'd get complicated. When my kids act up in public and people start staring or commenting (That's a handful!) I usually do a Seinfeld "Serenity NOW!" People always laugh, but I think it'd give your kid a complex.
Also, how many letters does your last name have. My full name has 9 in the first, 5 in the middle and 8 in the last, often I can't fit it all in on application forms, tests, etc. Then I'm left with trying to decide what part of my name in more important than the rest. I've heard Cheyenne too much, but I do like Serenity, it seems like a peaceful image.

I like, Serenity, like Cheyenne.... but together.... it just doesn't click. How about:
*Serenity Kayla
*Serenity Claire
*Cheyenne Norah
*Cheyenne Jessica
They are both lovely names.... but sometimes too much of two good things doesn't turn out right! And congratulations!

I think it is nice, but Serenity sounds like some product for old people... like diapers or something... I am not sure. I love the Cheyenne part though.
How about:
Selena, Serendipity, Serena, Syriana, Syria, Sierra, Sienna, Sabina, Sabrina... or Divinity, Divina...

My friend's daughter is Serenity. Good name, just not for that child. When she went to school, she had a hard time learning how to write her name.
I'm not a fan of Cheyenne. Sounds kinda stripperish

It is a very pretty name, but I cannot picture some business person reading that name on a resume and thinking much of it, it doesn't sound POWERFUL and serious! Give that baby something that says, get out of my way, I am powerful and brilliant, not something that says, hey girl, how you doin?
