Yep, Badseamstress is correct. Bonnie Tyler sang it originally. Then Nikki did a cover in the early 90's. Did you know the song was written by Jim Steinman, who not only wrote MeatLoaf's hits but also Air Supply's Makin' Love Out Of Nothing At All and Celine Dion's It's All Coming Back To Me Now? Yes, he did ;-) He also wrote 'Holding Out For A Hero' from Footloose based on music he'd originally wrote for the movie Streets Of Fire starring Michael Pare, who also played Eddie in Eddie And The Cruisers. Meatloaf played 'Eddie' in the Rocky Horror play, which is where he met Jim Steinman ;-) Okay, too much info ...
