I bake tons and tons of cookies with my family, although this year it will be by myself... We make a whole day of decorating... We pull out the Christmas classic cartoon movies, make and decorate the cookies and desserts, decorate the tree, and paint ornaments. It's very enjoyable and brings many a smiles to everyone who participates. As we decorate the tree, we reminisce about the ornaments and where they came from, and tell our stories.
Last year, Christmas morning I was with my sister and her family. My 4 year old nephew opened one of his presents, and exclaimed, "OH WOW LOOK MOM I GOT THIS!!!" My sister replied "That's cool, Noah, what is it?" His answer? " I DON"T KNOW!!" He was so excited about it and had no idea what the heck it was. Still makes me chuckle to think about it.

i'm sensible you pays interest one among those comments approximately what Christmas and Easter are somewhat approximately. For atheists Christmas could precise be an afternoon of having alongside with companion and babies, and Easter is a occasion of Spring/renewal/fertility. Santa suits into Christmas an analogous way Jesus does: that's basically a tale, a legend, a fantasy. no count quantity if he's actual or no longer does no longer replace the solid features he represents. some human beings savor making a music "Rudolf the purple-Nosed Reindeer" with out truthfully believing indoors the story. Many atheists journey an analogous way approximately non secular suggestions and songs. and for beneficial many atheists have not got exciting Christmas or Easter in any recognize. And on Dec. 25 many have exciting the transport of somebody who somewhat replaced into born on that day: Sir Isaac Newton.

I cry at every Christmas movie I can watch. I have seen "It's a Wonderful Life" about 400 times. I sing and I go shopping, and I get pictures taken with Santa. I enjoy my family and I make dinner and drink Memosas. Christmas is my favorite time of year, but I am one of those people that keep that spirit going all year.

One year when I was about six, we went to my grandparents house as we usually do. We celebrate it usually in November with them because they go to Florida for the winter...any ways, that one year we celebrated it in October...Halloween day...so we got there and my aunts and uncles dressed my cousins and I up in paper bags and sheets, so we trick-or-treated for about 2 hours, then we had a xmas tree and presents waiting for us. THAT was great. I think all kids have to have a halloween/christmas day.
