I went to San Diego State University (www.sdsu.edu) from my undergraduate program. Majored in Recreation Administration with an emphasis in systems managment. For my master's program, I went to San Jose State University (www.sjsu.edu) and majored in education leadership in higher education.

I choose to go to SDSU because I am originally from the Bay Area and I wanted to go to the furthest CA state school which happened to be in San Diego. I lived in the residence halls all four years and was a resident advisor for 3 years (not a bad deal with free room and board, plus priority registration). It's beautiful down in San Diego and lots to do outside of education. I didn't have a car all four years, but it didn't matter because a lot of things were on campus or in walking distance. Really great atmosphere down there and I enjoyed my four years of the "college experience".

Because I had such a great time in San Diego, I decided to go back to school to get my masters in higher education (I wanted to work as an administrator on a college campus). I also lived in in the residence halls for a semester at SJSU for my internship. I did a thesis on why students should live on campus and how they can benefit from that compared to students that choose to live off campus.

I went to Kansas State University. I'm from a small town (<1700 people), so jumping from that environment into a university with over 20,000 students was a shock. It didn't help that my roommates were horrible.

I was in lectures of 500 students and in classes of just 12. I think if I would have stuck with it, I would have done fine.

I transfered to a smaller university to be closer to my boyfriend/now fiance. I moved to a Baptist school in Kansas, with a campus of under 500 students. I enjoyed it, but a lot of students had no idea that walking 5 minutes to class or from their car to their dorm wasn't that bad of a deal compared with the 20-30 minutes I endured at K-State. I just graduated from the school, so that feels good despite being pushed around by the administration.

I've also attended: The University of Kansas (while I was attending the small Baptist university), Wichita State University (while I was in HS), Hutchinson Community College (HS), and Johnson County Community College (summers).

Rowan University, Glassboro, NJ. Living away at college was one of the best times in my life. I met so many new people and really enjoyed the overall learning experience my professors gave me. www.rowan.edu. Also check out Mary Washington College in Fredricksburg VA.... that campus is positively gorgeous, and everyone's quite friendly. Most people there live on the campus, and they have so many fun social events. Another great college is Grove City College in PA. The campus is another beautiful one.... its like going to an ivy league college without the ivy league price tag.

I go to Berkeley (www.berkeley.edu), and I dont really like it there. The are way too much people in the lecture hall (500-800), and there is too much competition...
