You could explain that "MALE" and "FEMALE" are words that describe the gender, or sex, of any animal - cat, dog, human, whatever, whereas "WOMAN" and "MAN" refer specifically to humans, the same way a sow is a female pig, a bull, a male cow, a mare, a female horse, and a *****, a female dog.

A female expresses a gender and it may be of other things like we say a female mosquito whereas the girl means a female human not attained the age of maturity , not married and have not given birth.

I would use pictures to convey the difference between a female and a woman. For example, to define female, you could show picutes of babies, toddlers, younger children, teens, women, grandmothers, etc.....All of these people are females. Then, to define the word woman, just show pictures of adult females. That should help them fully understand the difference.

A female means a "girl" any age; could be a baby or a teen or an adult.

A woman refers to an adult female or a girl, that is older and no longer a girl.

you may no longer study a guy to a girl. each and each is diverse. yet a guy, and a woman, supplement one yet another. In different words, one guy and one female (at the same time) is one unit. they seem to be a complementary pair.
